Opening Reception- Lisa Garbett Solo Show

Hi, my name is Lisa Garbett and I am an intuitive, abstract artist, working in a plethora of mediums. My art stems from  emotions that linger deep within the pages of my own story.
I believe every person has a story, and in my paintings, every layer of color begins a new chapter. Every mark I make reveals the details of the story that is unfolding before your eyes.
Each painting begins a new story or maybe even a series of stories depending on my mood. It may be a mystery, comedy, romantic novel, or possibly a cliff-hanger; but within the layers and details, the story develops, taking me on an adventure as I momentarily escape from reality.
